About This Tour
From the pine forest of Naltar Bala past the coloured Naltar lakes and the yak pastures above them to the Naltar Pass at 4,710 m, with a night at the lake and an easy first day for anyone new to altitude.
Itinerary
Gilgit to Naltar Bala
Jeep up the valley to Naltar Bala and a walk in the forest.
Naltar Bala to the lakes
Walk to Satrangi and Blue Lake and camp by the water.
Lakes to Naltar Pass base
Up through the yak pastures to the camp below the pass.
Naltar Pass and back
Early climb to the pass for views to Ishkoman, then down to Naltar Bala.
Departure
Jeep back to Gilgit.
