Visiting from Abroad

International Visitors

Everything to sort out before you land: visas, permits, money and local customs.

Visas

Most nationalities can apply for a Pakistan tourist visa online through the official government portal. Once you have booked with us we can provide an invitation letter and itinerary to support your application.

Arriving in Pakistan

We meet you at Islamabad or Lahore airport and take care of transfers. Keep your passport and visa with you throughout the trip: there are routine police checkposts on the Karakoram Highway and our team handles the registration.

Restricted areas

A few border areas, parts of Azad Kashmir and some high treks require a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for foreign nationals. We tell you in advance if your route needs one and apply on your behalf.

Money and connectivity

The Pakistani rupee (PKR) is used everywhere. Cards work in big hotels in cities, but carry cash for the mountains. Local SIM cards need your passport to register; we can help you get one on arrival.

Culture and dress

Pakistan is a conservative and very hospitable country. Loose clothing that covers shoulders and knees is respectful for both men and women. Always ask before photographing people, especially women.

Paying from abroad

International bank transfer is the simplest way to pay your deposit. Contact us for account details in your preferred currency.
